Readings for Session #3

The readings due for discussion in session 3 (2/2/18) can be found below. For both stories, think critically about the ways in which data shaped the research/reporting. Please write a brief response (minimum 100 words) highlighting one aspect of either story that you found to be novel. This could be a source, dataset, or analytical technique, or it could be part of the output: a map, quote or photo. Responses are due Thursday, 2/1/18 at midnight.
